Naval Special Forces Training

DCI can assist friendly countries in developing the capabilities and competences of Special Forces personnel.

In France, training takes place at DCI’s International Centre for Military Diver Training (CIF-PM) near Toulon on the Mediterranean.
All Special Forces training is based on the know-how of the French armed forces.
Training courses cover all Special Forces activities on land, in the air and at sea. They are based on the latest equipment used by Special Forces units.
Training is designed for military personnel operating within Special Forces units.

Special Forces training takes place in France and/or a friendly country (depending on facilities available) and includes:
• classroom teaching (theory);
• activities linked to special forces operations using specific equipment (fast boats, specialised firing ranges, etc.);
• use of specific equipment: training ship (combat in confined space), firing simulator, commando assault course, airborne equipment (helicopter, aircraft, parachute…).
