Helicopter through-life support

Since 1991, DCI has provided helicopter through-life support for several Gulf countries that are friendly with France. Around 100 technicians, including some on secondment from the armed forces, are involved in the operation, maintenance, repair and overhaul (up to level NT13). DCI also takes part in local training of technicians, while also providing consultancy and assistance to the armed forces in the technical support sector.

Some helicopter contracts have provisions for fly-by-the-hour support including operational logistics: from stocks and spares flow management to industrial repair work.

There are obligations concerning helicopter availability at short notice for search and rescue (SAR) and VIP transportation missions.

Daily monitoring ensures that availability meets defined targets. Customer satisfaction is measured every quarter.

A l’occasion du salon aéronautique du Bourget, DCI présente un aperçu de la formation de mécanicien étranger dans son centre de formation international d’hélicoptère.
