DCI and Europe

DCI participates in European dynamics, guided by three objectives:

• follow Europe's changes and be proactive

• seek leverage effects and invest in strategic partnerships
• be present on the European scene and recognized by defense actors

DCI recently won a European Defense Agency (EDA) call for tenders concerning the analysis of helicopter pilot training procedures within member States. This analysis, completed by DCI in 2011, will allow convergence, mutualization and cost reduction opportunities to be deduced.  This new contract is the result of DCI's operational know-how in the field of "helicopters", which represents 20% of its turnover.

Still in the scope of the European Union, DCI-NAVFCO and CIVI.POL were chosen to conduct a study in the field of maritime safety in the Gulf of Guinea. This study allowed the assessment of needs and means required to fight illicit trafficking and piracy in the area.
