COFRAS, how to face new security threats in the Security-Defense Continuum.

Since 2004, transferring the French Gendarmerie's know-how has been part of DCI's competence. COFRAS is in a position to provide, in France or on site, consulting and training that cover all security and safety missions, i.e.:

• counterterrorism (intervention, GIGN type);
• protection of very important persons (VIP, GIGN type);
• military police;
• maintenance and restoration of law and order;
• road safety;
• police dog units;
• technical and scientific police;
• clearance, detection and neutralization of improvized explosive devices;
• protection of sensitive sites and crisis management.

Certain highly specific training courses are delivered in collaboration with CIVIPOL, operating for the Ministry of the Interior. For example, the detection and neutralization of improvized explosive devices, or audits on critical infrastructures. Indeed, DCI offers in situ audits to evaluate the security of sensitive sites and infrastructures against terrorist threats. To achieve this, we call on the best experts from the French Ministry of Defense and Ministry of the Interior (civil defense).

To sum up, DCI assigns experienced personnel for audits and structured training, all with the aim of ensuring security.
